We typically leave the dock an hour before sunrise to ensure that we get in on the morning bite of the King Salmon, but will leave anytime your group wishes. If we have an afternoon charter booked, we need to be back in before the scheduled departure time of the next trip. Please discuss this with Captain Chris when booking. Afternoon charters leave the dock at noon.

Yes, the fish still bite in the rain, but it’s ultimately your choice, if you want to hold off on leaving the dock until after the rain passes. Captain Chris will work with groups to reschedule, if he feels the inclement weather is making it unsafe to be on the water.

Yes, the cabin of the boat is enclosed and our onboard generator allows us to control the heat and AC during trips.

Absolutely. We kindly ask that you be mindful of food items that are brought onboard and try not to bring anything that is generally messy or creates a lot of crumbs, and please be respectful of the boat and clean-up after yourself. Trash bags are provided. No glass. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Illicit drugs are not allowed.

You can take your fish with you between trips and store on ice in a cooler. Captain Chris can otherwise make arrangements to get your fish commercially vacuum sealed and prepared for you to pick up the next day.
